I've spent ~10 years as an engineer — starting in India, then Tesla, Yahoo, and now LinkedIn's Data Privacy & Infrastructure team, where I work on distributed systems in Java, Scala, and Spark at 250M+ member scale. Along the way I've made most of the decisions people get stuck on: changing countries, changing domains, staying IC instead of going into management, and deciding when a comfortable role has stopped teaching me anything.
