I rebuilt my own resume this year while running a full Senior/Staff search across FAANG and AI compnies. That means I've seen what gets a callback and what gets ignored, recently, in this market — not five years ago.
Send me your resume and the roles you're targeting, and I'll give you specific, line-level feedback rather than general advice.
What I'll look at:
• Impact bullets — turning "worked on X" into scope, scale, and outcome. Most engineers undersell platform work badly
• Whether your metrics are believable and specific enough to survive a follow-up question
• Summary and top-third real estate — the part reviewers actually read before deciding
• ATS formatting: layout, keywords, parseability, and the things that silently break
• Level signal — whether the resume reads Senior, Staff, or ambiguous, and what to change
• Alignment to your target roles, especially if you're pivoting into AI-native companies or a new domain
• Honest gaps — what the resume reveals that you'll get asked about, and how to handle it.
I'll tell you what's wrong directly. If the resume is fine and the problem is elsewhere — targeting, timing, or the story you're telling — I'll say that instead.
