Hello! I am Daniel Muise. The Communication Doctor. I started this consulting practice after talking with hundreds of new PhD grads, each of whom were struggling to find a fulfilling role after their defense. A common theme: interviews don't pan out. Conversations fall flat. Explanations don't land, and suddenly income and visas are feeling tight. It's communication. And that's what I fix. I'm the communication doctor. Or your money back. Bio: I received my PhD in Communication and Data Science from Stanford University, with a postdoc in Computer Science. I interview college applicants on behalf of Stanford, and I'm an advisor to the UMass Lowell Honors College. I also review academic submissions to Nature Human Behavior and Scientific Reports. I've also held roles at Microsoft Research, Google Android, Facebook Central Integrity, and Instagram. My work has been published and featured in the New York Times. the Daily Show, Consumer Research, and more. These days, I am the founder and CEO of Screenlake, a company that monetizes the most interesting learnings from my dissertation work.
