Who am I?

Hey, I’m an SDE 2 at Amazon with a little over 5 years of experience in tech. Over the years I’ve been on both sides of the table — as a nervous candidate sending out hundreds of applications, and as an interviewer looking for the right fit. I know how tough and confusing this whole process can be, because I’ve lived it myself.

Why am I doing this?

Honestly, because I remember what it felt like to be in your shoes. I applied to over 300 internships, wrote cover letters until I was sick of them, and still kept going. Eventually, I got 4 offers — Amazon, Gecko Robotics, Fanatics, and Home Depot. I ended up interning at Amazon and Gecko, and both gave me return full-time offers. And if you want proof, I can even show you my internship offer letters — I’ve been through this journey for real.

I know the grind, the rejections, the “why not me?” moments. I don’t want to just hand you advice you can already find online — I want to listen to your story, figure out where you are, and then help you take the next actionable step.

That’s why I’m doing this.

Why am I charging money?

The first session is $30. I actually wanted to make it free, but I’ve noticed people don’t take free things seriously. Putting even a small price makes sure you’re committed, and it pushes me to show up fully prepared too. After that, sessions will be around $120 — but only if you find real value in the first one. And if you ever feel like you didn’t get value? I’ll refund you personally, even if Topmate takes their cut.

What I can help with

  1. Going through your resume and giving honest feedback
  2. Talking through how to prepare for applications and interviews
  3. Helping you build the right mindset for interviews (because confidence matters as much as knowledge)
  4. Running mock interviews (technical + behavioral) so you can practice in a safe space
  5. Sharing my own mistakes and lessons, so you don’t have to repeat them

What I can’t help with

I want to set the right expectations:

  1. I can’t give referrals. It wouldn’t be fair or ethical.
  2. I don’t have a magic pill. Everything I know is technically already out there on the internet. The difference is, I can save you time, share what worked for me, and help you figure out what’s right for you.
  3. I don’t have answers to “why did my friend get an internship easily but I can’t?” The truth is, life’s not always fair and luck plays a role. What you can control is your effort, mindset, and preparation — and that’s what I’ll focus on with you.
