I started my career working at a small IT service company in Latvia, Riga. Every morning I would go to my office in the basement of a building and look at the huge skyscraper in front of me - one of the largest banks in Latvia. I wanted to be the guy standing in that building looking down in the street, not the other way around. It bugged me every day. Until I got a job at that exact building. I thought it was the best thing in my life. But pretty soon I understood that it wasn’t. I wanted to do something else, something that would actually matter. So I started working on a fintech project in the evenings and on weekends. I secretly registered my company in the UK, because my day job didn’t allow employees to have other affiliations. That was my first experience building a startup. I worked with more than 20 people and connected with 100+ companies so I could grow my idea and it was fun! And I wanted to move forward even faster. I sold the company and started traveling the world. So far I have visited 27 countries and climbed 20+ mountain peaks on 4 continents. To maintain my outdoor lifestyle, I started a remote company that helps web3/crypto startups to build their products and market them. I have helped 50+ startups - amass thousands of community members. - get funded or crowdfund anywhere from a few hundred thousand to $20 million. - build lasting solutions that make DeFi, Web3, and different solutions on blockchain simple to use and easy to understand.
