My professional life is organised in three dimensions: - Software Engineering (currently at Google) - Academic teaching and outreach - Private consulting (where there are no conflicts) I have training in hydrology, ecohydrology, geology and geophysics, marine geoscience, human geography, computer science, machine learning and statistics. I work across the ML/SWE stack and but most of all enjoy work in distributed systems and prefer to focus on problems where my domain knowledge can act as an accelerator in GIS, geospatial, climate and sustainability tech.
