I design systems that heal, not just help. I’m Coviness Mwengwe, a Mental Health Practitioner and Trauma-Informed Systems Architect based in Zambia, working across Africa and beyond. Over the past few years, I’ve helped 3,000+ individuals and 40+ teams build trauma-sensitive, emotionally safe, and healing-centered ecosystems in their schools, communities, and institutions. I don’t just run programs. I redesign how people live, work, and lead especially in environments where burnout, silence, and emotional suppression have been normalized. At the heart of my work is the TRE Framework™ a model I use to guide transformation from the inside out: 🌿 TRE™ = T – Trauma-Informed Systems Systems that avoid re-traumatizing people. I train teams and design programs that reduce fear, shame, and emotional overwhelm. R – Resilience-Oriented Systems Structures that help people bounce back from adversity. I embed tools like storytelling, peer support, journaling, and emotional regulation methods. E – Wellness Ecosystems Holistic design that honors mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual wellness. I help institutions prioritize rest, reflection, nutrition, safe relationships, and healing culture. This work is personal. I’ve survived burnout. I’ve led while grieving. I know what it means to look like you’re holding it together, while inside you’re quietly breaking.
