From Corporate Executive to Tech Entrepreneur: A Journey of Passion and Purpose After years of working in the energy industry as the MEA and China Regional Manager for top American multinationals, I felt a calling to pursue my passion for technology and innovation. It was a bold and perhaps even crazy move, but I knew that it was time to take a leap of faith and make a change. With a deep interest in artificial intelligence, I began working on several projects to develop tools that could improve industrial processes through AI. I became a member of the "Global Professionals for Artificial Intelligence" association and started lecturing on AI at the H-Farm campus and at Politecnico di Bari. Drawing on my sales and management experience, I co-founded two startups: Smartendering.com and waterspeedapp.com. Smartendering.com is an AI platform that specializes in analyzing technical specifications in the energy sector, while waterspeedapp.com allows water sports enthusiasts to monitor and improve their performance. These ventures have allowed me to combine my passion for AI with my business expertise to create innovative solutions that make a real difference. As a Certified Professional Coach (CPCC) and Co-Active Leader practitioner, I bring a unique perspective to my work. I use my effective negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills to help my clients and students reach their full potential. I believe in the importance of relationships and people management and development, and I put this into practice in all aspects of my life. I also have a passion for investing in startups as an angel investor. I take great satisfaction in playing a role in helping startups achieve success, whether it's through offering guidance and mentorship or helping secure funding. For me, investing in startups is another way to promote growth and innovation in the tech industry. My journey from corporate executive to tech entrepreneur has been one of passion and purpose. I am proud to have taken a risk and pursued my dreams, and I believe that my experience can inspire others to do the same.
