Relationships can be deeply meaningful and yet, they can also bring us face-to-face with parts of ourselves that we may not otherwise notice.

You may find yourself in a relationship where the other person is not meeting your expectations, is not cooperating, or is showing up in ways that are difficult for you. And yet, you may not want to let go of the relationship. You want to work on it. You want to understand what you can do differently, while staying true to yourself.

This is where this a 1-1 coaching space comes in.

We will not focus on changing, fixing or analysing the other person. The focus is you, how you are experiencing the relationship, what is getting activated within you, the expectations you are carrying, the patterns you may be participating in, and most importantly, who you are choosing to be in this relationship for yourself and other person.

Together, we may explore:

  1. What is this relationship bringing up for you? What are you expecting from the other person, and why does it matter to you?
  2. What is within your influence—and what isn't?
  3. How are you showing up in this dynamic?
  4. What do you need to understand, unlearn or work on within yourself?
  5. How can you communicate, respond and set boundaries without losing yourself?
  6. What is yours to carry in this relationship, and what belongs to the other person?
  7. How can you make choices from a conscious, self-aware space rather than from fear, guilt, obligation or overwhelm?

The deeper intention is to help you develop clarity, confidence and rootedness in yourself, so you can recognise your own capacity and limits, discern what feels healthy or unhealthy for you, and decide for yourself how much you are willing and able to hold within a relationship.

You do not have to carry the weight of another person's life in order to care for them or care about the relationship.

My own journey through different kinds and layers of relationships has involved a continuous process of learning and unlearning. It has helped me become more rooted in who I am and how I choose to show up in my relationships with authenticity, integrity, inner peace and a sense of responsibility for my own wellbeing.

I believe relationships can be spaces where we feel psychologically safe enough to be ourselves, experience love and warmth, and be inspired to grow to want to do more and better for ourselves and for each other.

And when a relationship is not feeling that way, there is an opportunity to pause, become aware, understand what is happening within, and consciously choose how we want to move forward.

When we work on ourselves, the way we show up in the relationship changes too. That shift can alter the quality of the interaction and may naturally invite the other person to pause, reflect and look within themselves. We cannot do that work for them, but our own conscious way of relating can create space for something different to emerge between two people.

Ultimately, this work is not about finding answers of whether you should stay, leave, compromise or hold on. It is about becoming more aware of yourself so that you can make your own decisions, be rooted in them, and participate in relationships without abandoning yourself or taking responsibility for what is not yours to carry.

As a coach, I hold up a mirror to your inner reality. I am an enabler of inner awareness, not someone who tells you what you should do. My work is also deeply rooted in conscious living. As a practitioner and facilitator of Yoga as a way of life, I see awareness not as something separate from everyday life, but as something we can bring into the way we think, relate, respond and live.

You may not be able to choose how the other person shows up. But you can become deeply rooted in how you choose to show up and in what you choose to carry, create and nurture in the relationship.
