Hello. I'm Deepak, the world calls me Chuck. I co-run a content / marketing strategy studio called Rough Paper (we do brand strat and content, and have worked with all manner of companies). I co-run a content coaching program called The 6% Club (now in its 7th cohort, having mentored 250+ members). I've worked in strategy / content roles at Ogilvy, Leo Burnett, OML Entertainment and PaytmInsider before starting on my own. I've taught digital marketing / content at places like the IIMs, FLAME, SIMC, TAPMI, GIM - along with running my own digital marketing online course. I've done several personal content projects - podcasts, newsletters, cartooning, stand-up, and more. I'm interested in how technology impacts culture - it's something I think a lot about, written about, and spoken about. I love most forms of rock music, endurance cycling, Sahyadri trekking and cold water. Freelancing and careers: I've successfully pivoted from working full-time to working for myself. I'm well-placed to advice especially those in the marketing / content space. Finding balance in life: I know this sounds like a vague one, but over the years I've gotten good at work-life balance, managing my time, figuring out my priorities, and helping others do the same.
