Most finance professionals know the destination they want to reach, but very few understand the path to get there. I started my journey as a CA student and was fortunate to secure AIR 20 in CA Intermediate. Since then, I have had the opportunity to work with some of the leading professional services firms, including PwC, Grant Thornton and EY, building experience across audit, accounting and financial due diligence. Today, I work closely with investors, founders and management teams on transactions, helping them evaluate businesses through an investor lens. My experience in Financial Due Diligence has provided me with a deep understanding of how transactions work, what investors look for and the skills professionals need to succeed in Deal Advisory. Having gone through the journey myself, I understand the challenges students and young professionals face—whether it is preparing for CA exams, getting shortlisted by Big 4 firms, cracking interviews or transitioning into Financial Due Diligence.
