I am a financial market professional with over 16 years of experience in the derivatives industry, holding leadership roles within global buy-side organizations. My expertise lies in listed derivatives, trading strategies, and team management. My trading journey began in September 2008 at TransMarket Group during the Global Financial Crisis, where I learned to trade European and American interest rate markets. Over the years, I expanded into Energy, Soft Commodities, Metals, and several other markets while transitioning from trading roles to business and team management responsibilities. In 2011, I led the incorporation and management of OSTC's India business, which I ran for 4 years. Later, I moved on to set up the Global Derivatives Trading business for Edelweiss Financial Services. In 2017, I took a parenting break while also exploring entrepreneurship. During this time, I established tradinginstitute.org, collaborating with global exchanges, trading firms, and educational institutions to promote knowledge-sharing and education in derivatives trading. I have hands-on experience in derivatives trading strategies, as well as middle and back-office processes for listed markets. My responsibilities in leadership roles have included recruitment & training of graduate analysts, risk Management, strategic planning, budget management and operational oversight of the business unit. Over the last few years, I have grown to become extremely passionate about leveraging technology for building better research and analytics tools as well as systematic and quantitative trading strategies across domestic and global markets.
