Hey there! I'm Chinmay, and ensuring things go as per the plan is what drives me.
At EY's Hoboken office, I work as a technology risk consultant (aka IT Auditor), specifically focusing on SOX compliance. This means I'm responsible for auditing the technology applications that underpin the financial statements of publicly traded companies. In simpler terms, I help make sure the numbers you see are accurate – the very foundation of trust in the markets.
However, my passion extends beyond just my daily work.
I believe strong IT security is critical for every organization, and organizations can ensure their security posture by employing skilled audit workforce. But do we have enough resources out there to shape a skilled auditor?
That's why I'm dedicated to creating educational content in the IT audit space.
This focus on content creation stems from a desire to bridge the knowledge gap in the field. By creating easy-to-understand resources, I want to empower aspiring auditors with the skills they need to safeguard valuable data and critical systems.
