Cheyush taught me the value of working with a coach who will hold the right kind of space for reflection to occur. Our six sessions together were really helpful for me to navigate an important transition in my life. Cheyush is a calm, positive and generous coach - and it has been so nice to have him in my corner supporting me!

" Undergoing 6 session coaching with Cheyush was an absolutely rewarding experience! Even though I am a self proclaimed, self-aware guy - there was a lot to unlock what's in my head and Cheyush provided the right and safe environment, asked the right questions, waited patiently at times, steered the ship at other times to ensure I get the most value out of the sessions we did together. When you sit with Cheyush and open up, it immediately feels like he gets what's happening in your head! He kept bringing in creative tools when required to help me with expressing logic and emotion, suited to how I think, and all the sessions were beautifully summarized, helping me see my progress. What I loved the most about our sessions was the patience and resilience Cheyush shows in staying with your thoughts - even if they are hazy, unformed, ambiguous. Giving this space helped me form my thoughts better, express them as it is and understand myself better. We also started working on some actionables towards the end of our sessions - once again - actionables usually come with pressure, making you feel more guilty in case you miss them. Cheyush has been kind in that way to understand and give the space, time and put minimal constraints so that actionables are worked upon and barriers are overcome. With Cheyush, I was able to clearly lay the map as to what was going on in my brain through these initial 6 sessions and deep dive and action upon 1/2 big issues affecting me in my professional life and career. A very big enabler, indeed! I highly recommend Cheyush for anyone looking for a kind, patient but action-oriented coach to unlock your better self!"

Initially, my motive for these sessions was to gain clarity and understand my strengths and weaknesses on a deeper level. The past few sessions have been extremely helpful, and I’ve appreciated every moment. When we started, I was struggling mentally with a tough job market and found it challenging to envision my long-term goals. It felt difficult to imagine myself enjoying a fulfilling career, and I worried I might not find the right role for me. I was convinced I had no strengths and doubted my potential for success. All in all, I lacked self-belief. Our coaching sessions have encouraged me to understand myself better. From analyzing my strengths and weaknesses to exploring my insecurities and self-doubt, I’ve gained the courage to pinpoint when I started fearing my own decisions. As a habitual over-thinker, I initially found it challenging to open up, but your energy made it easier for me to express myself.
Hi!
I'm Cheyush. I hold a master's degree in applied Positive Psychology and Coaching Psychology. My background has been in the social development sector and innovation consulting (design thinking) space. Currently, I am part of TAO Consulting – a boutique management consulting firm with a focus on leadership & culture (link above). Throughout my work over the years, I have explored meaningful approaches to facilitate change at both individual and systemic levels.
In my coaching, I work with professionals who are going through a transition, or planning for one. The clients I work with come to me when they sense an inner nudge for deeper change. In the recent past, I've worked with young leaders, Doctoral (PhD) graduates, designers and entrepreneurs.
The coaching journey will be directed by your intentions and aspirations. It can also include working through certain specific concerns or challenges. I hold a safe yet challenging space for deeper enquiry. Feel free to reach out to know more about my approach.
Beyond this, I consider myself a student of creative processes. I love nature, slow travel and literature. I hail from Nashik and currently based in Bangalore.
Always open for a conversation (even if we don't end up working together).
(Please note coaching is different from mentorship, therapy, counselling and advice-seeking).
