Research Proposal Made Simple (Mini-Course)

Graduate students often find it hard to narrow a topic, draft clear research questions, and choose the right methods. We will meet three times:

• Session 1: Select a focused topic and draft research questions.
• Session 2: Design your methodology and outline data‐collection plans.
• Session 3: Build the proposal document, including a realistic timeline and ethics statement.

By the end, you’ll have a complete proposal draft, peer feedback, instructor feedback, and annotated sample proposals to guide your revision.
