With 8 years of experience in Business Operations, Administration and Data Entry from hospitality and small businesses in Los Angeles, CA and Brooklyn, NY, I happily made a career switch into Cybersecurity on August 2022 and now a grateful member and mentee of Women in Cybersecurity since September 2022. Through those 8 years, I have helped build and lead teams of 6 (maximum) and built relationships with local business owners and their clients through customer service, social media and email marketing/engagement. Creating effective standards and procedures to improve business operations for small businesses have also been a joy to learn and accomplish. IBM's Cybersecurity Professional Certificate helped me begin learning about the fundamentals of Cybersecurity and introduced me to Women in Cybersecurity. In January-April 2023, I had the pleasure of partaking in Boeing's RapidAscent Cybersecurity Program where I got to expand my knowledge and technical skill set within cybersecurity and an exposure to aerospace industry.
