  • Got to know that I was doing difficult questions and forgot to stick to basics by taking pen and paper to make the algo first , In my defence I thought you were saying let’s do one more basic question

About me

A bit about myself. Started as junior SDE at Full Creative, worked on React, GCP, and Python, shift from coding for fun to getting paid for the same. For the first couple of months, I learned a lot about writing/reading code, and dealing with many RCAs. I made some open-source contributions, and the review quality was crazy. Kid you not, on one PR I got about 50+ comments from random strangers on the internet. It's one hella of an xp. I learnt a lot about different styles of writing code, handling PR comments professionally, and how to give PR comments, etc. I was paid around 6.5lpa by then, I felt it was low so I decided to look for a new job. I found one where I led junior developers and onboarded freshers, but unfortunately, the project's clients did not materialize. So, I switched jobs again and ended up at Rocketlane. Here my knowledge and patience have been squeezed to its length and breadth. To start, I guide junior and mid-level SDEs, on design decisions. Had to resolve multiple bugs simultaneously while maintaining a smooth operation of various critical parts within the application. Developed a hawk eye over performance issues, bugs, memory management, architecture, and design decisions and some tooling. My craziest times were those, when I had to identify cross-package issues and do patch packages; and fix performance issues within AntD, and how can I forget about loading a 30Mb js application within 4 seconds (from almost 30 sec)! To those who have read this far, I sincerely thank you for your time and patience. Let's get started 😁
