About me

Hello! I'm Chaitanya, a computer whiz currently pursuing my Masters in Computer Science (Thesis) at McGill University in Canada. I am a part of Software Composition and Reuse (SCORE) Research Lab at McGill. My thesis is focusing on creating a generic, extensible and flexible architecture for a graphical front-end of a web-based software modelling tool. The architecture providing editors for multiple modelling notations and each editor configurable to allow or disallow certain editing operations, depending on the purpose for which the models are created. During my academic journey, I had the incredible opportunity to be a MITACS Research intern at the University of Montreal, where I honed my research and analytical skills. Additionally, I've also gained hands-on experience as a Software Developer at a Bangalore-based Startup for 6 months, which provided me valuable insights into the industry. But wait, there's more to me than just computers and videos! I'm an explorer at heart, always seeking the thrill of venturing into uncharted territories. I'm a dedicated foodie, relishing the diverse flavors of delectable cuisines wherever I go. To freeze the unforgettable moments of my journey, I wield a camera with joy, capturing captivating photographs that narrate their own stories. Oh, and let's not forget about my love for the exhilarating game of cricket!
