Chaitanya is currently working as a Cloud Strategy Consultant at Deloitte USI. He is an MBA graduate from S.P. Jain Institute of Management and Research, Mumbai with majors in Information Management. As part of the Cloud Strategy team, Chaitanya has worked across Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance sector. His expertise lies in business case development across various cloud and container platforms. He has also worked on Cloud Business Office setup, Cloud Spend Optimization and Business Process improvement. He also holds Project Management and cloud implementation experience. He is also a member of the Cloud Financial Management Team at Deloitte. At SPJIMR, he was a part of the Entrepreneurship Committee, SPRINT’20 Sponsorship Team, Chess Team, and Table Tennis Team. He won Global Change Maker COVID-19 Innovation Award and seed funding of $1000 at GSIC'20, San Diego University for pitching Dr. Nanoxa, a nanotech-based antimicrobial disinfectant to prevent infections from surface contact. He has around 2 years of experience as a Sr. Software Engineer at BuildSupply, a PropTech startup. He was largely responsible for development of functionalities within the SaaS based ERP platform of BuildSupply after understanding the product and client requirements. He worked with fellow developers, quality assurance team and product team throughout the product lifecycle to produce a high-quality, user-friendly, scalable and bug-free software. Worked on the entire technology stack as a full-stack developer and got exposed to a wide spectrum of frontend and backend web development technologies. He also worked closely with the Founders of the organization on multiple workstreams and gained from their tremendous cross-industry experience. Spent 5 months at Amadeus Software Labs, Bangalore as a Software Developer – Intern where he delivered an Alternate Itinerary recommendation engine to generate additional revenue for OTAs and Airlines. Pursued his graduation in B.Tech - Information Technology at VIT University, Vellore and achieved 9.1 CGPA. and was among the Top 100 CBSE Board students in SSC who were invited by the Central Scientific Instruments Organisation for an Innovation Workshop. He is an International Rated Chess Player and has won various state level chess tournaments during his formative years. He is known for his attitude to learn, determination to work hard and empathy towards others.
