An entrepreneur with a background in Hospitality (20 years+) and Human Resources (10 years) passionate about People - as employees, employers, contractors, customers, guests and in the "real world". My current efforts are dedicated to use my company POP HR Forward as a platform to promote & quickly place fractional HR leaders & Admin professionals on an interim/contract basis. We help employers as the primary communication tool for employees and temporary projects during transitions or gaps in their People Operations Team. Motivated by my desire to be more involved in the infrastructure and culture of the organization, I gradually moved into roles within Hospitality/Operations Management (2011 - 2017) and later a focus on Human Resources/People Operations (2015 - Present). My HR career has evolved from in house at establishments in New York City and Los Angeles, to providing contract remote HR/People Operations services for diverse clients. I have supported organizations with 5-500 employees based throughout the U.S., with multi-state operations, and recently in Italy where I currently and intermittently reside. Several of my roles in HR and Operations were as an opening manager for companies, creating the foundation and resources within departments and all things digital. As a contract professional these last six years I have supported over 50 companies throughout the U.S. in building or revising their HR department and providing interim or ongoing HR administrative support through openings, acquisitions, closures, layoffs, benefit plan set up/renewal (including 401k), payroll processing, multi-state tax jurisdictions, tax amendments and POS/HCM/HRIS implementations or transitions. I continue to seek and eagerly accept opportunities in this field for clients where our values in compliance, ethics and employee advocacy align. I am passionate about applying my skills and expertise in Employment Law, Payroll, HRIS and Communication to help companies improve their operational compliance, efficiency and transparency within their HR department, and provide an optimal employee experience throughout their life cycle.
