Currently as an fourth-year undergraduate in Food Quality and Safety in China, I have received the admission letter of Wageningen University's Master Food Safety programme. My research interests primarily lie in food toxicology and 3Rs (replacement, reduction & refinement of animal experiments), stemming from the toxicological safety evaluation conducted in 2022. In order to explore different research areas and to better develop research skills, however, I changed the lab to work for in March and therefore my bachelor's thesis will mainly focus on selection of enzymes for enzymatically digestion of beef tallow and comparison between enzymatically digested beef tallow and traditional beef tallow. In my bachelor's studies, presentation skills, proposal writing skills, report writing skills, leadership, team management skills, communication skills, and time management skills have been well developed as I often acted as a learder in group assignments as well as competitions and cherished every opportunity to learn. In addition to the study of food, I have been working as a volunteer of social media operation and graphic design in a Harry Potter fan group (Dumbledore's Army-CN) for nearly three years. Morever, I am fond of attending co-learning activities, from which I have learned topics about gender equalisation, climate change, SDGs, positive psychology, refugee issue, and academic writing. Teaching myself foreign languages (English, Spanish, Dutch, etc.) is also one of my personal interestes. Finally, I have always been a person who embraces challenges and has a passion for exposure to new things. Challenge the limit of life to find the potential of self!
