Brent Hughes, MBA, is a Strategic Business Executive with a solid track record in turning around a faltering company into an operating business on a stable financial footing. Prior to joining Cardinal, Brent enjoyed a thriving career in procurement, having worked with IBM Canada and Rogers Communications, where he helped achieve major cost savings ($1M/year at Rogers) by leading difficult negotiations and securing new vendor agreements that involved different stakeholders and required buy-in from the leadership team. Brent is a graduate of the Executive EMBA Program at Ivey Business School. He is a member of the Young Entrepreneurs’ Council (YEC).
