Ever since I was a little kid, software development and IoT has been my passion. I still remember getting my first ever computer, an old HP laptop, I was ecstatic. I immediately installed Python and printed my first "Hello World!". As I was going through the tutorial, it was almost magic, being able to tell the computer what to do just by typing, limited by my own imagination and ingenuity. Throughout high school, I did small projects using Python and took up online computer classes till graduation (Harvard) where I learned an introduction to the intellectual enterprises of Computer Science and the art of programming offered by David J. Malan. Learned C, Python, SQL, Memory, Data Structures and Algorithms, JavaScript, CSS, Flask, and HTML, 2019. I then learned java and app development. This passion carried me through my education at The University of Nairobi and CISCO Academy. Here I was exposed to more resources than I could imagine. I got to interact with engineers locally and internationally through pair programming, build my communication skills and take up mentorship and leadership roles while at UoN. I also learned new languages, algorithms, compilers, computer architecture, and cloud computing all with the same passion I had as a kid. It was during this time that I learned there is more I am yet to learn. So now in the industry, this passion still burns in me. There is certainly more I have to learn, more problems to solve and more products to build. For this, I am both excited and grateful. Languages: C, C#, HTML5 & CSS3, PHP.
