I’m an international hire working in the UK finance sector, currently sponsored on a Skilled Worker visa. I help international students, graduates and early-career professionals build careers in the UK. I’ve personally navigated the journey from international student to UK employment, including multiple full-time professional roles, Skilled Worker sponsorship and career moves across finance, external audit and UK higher education. I hold two UK Master’s degrees and experience across three full-time UK roles (PwC, University of Oxford and University of Birmingham). I’ve also dealt directly with Skilled Worker sponsorship requirements, including researching eligible SOC codes and discussing the appropriate sponsorship route and occupation codes with employers such as the University of Oxford and the University of Birmingham. My mentoring focuses on UK finance job searches, university finance roles, CVs and applications, interviews, sponsorship-focused job strategy, and navigating the transition from international student or graduate to sponsored employment. I particularly enjoy helping people who are early in their careers and want practical guidance from someone who has personally gone through the UK international-hire process.
