With a passion for technology and education, my journey at Masai School has been both transformative and impactful. Starting with no coding experience and a non-CS background, Masai provided the ideal platform for me to launch my career in tech. From Student to Mentor: I began as a student at Masai, where consistency became my key to success. After completing the rigorous MERN Stack course, I transitioned into the role of Instructional Associate. Over the course of 6 months, I had the privilege of mentoring and guiding 100+ students, helping them navigate their own learning paths and achieve their goals. Building Expertise: My dedication and passion led me to become a Curriculum Engineer / Instructor, specializing in Data Structures and Algorithms. In this role, I taught over 2700 students, helping them master complex concepts and develop problem-solving skills. During my year in this position, I also developed three comprehensive curriculum modules that enhanced our educational offerings. Driving Outcomes: After a year of instructing, I was promoted to Senior Curriculum Engineer. Here, I played a crucial role in revising curricula and preparing students for placements. As a key member of the Outcomes Team, we saw a significant 20% increase in conversion rates due to our structured processes around preparation and evaluations. Leadership and Strategy: Now, as the Lead Strategist, I manage a talented team focused on preparation and evaluations. My responsibilities include staying ahead of industry trends, providing valuable feedback to our curriculum team, and ensuring our educational standards remain top-notch.
