preparing notes. preparing answers. preparing an entire alter ego for the interview. and now apparently watching your whole cognitive infrastructure silently collapse in front of three strangers who hold your fate
interview season has this wildly specific, almost poetic way of transforming the most prepared people in the room into someone who cannot, for the life of them, complete a single coherent sentence.
people obliterating cutoffs, securing calls from institutions they once only whispered about… and then sitting in front of a screen, utterly stupefied when asked something as rudimentary as "so. tell me about yourself."
which honestly reveals one deeply inconvenient truth - knowledge, without the ability to carry yourself in a room, is just very well-organised silence.
they never get to see what you're actually made of.
and while everyone's busy dissecting geopolitical catastrophes and rehearsing suspiciously polished answers into mirrors at 2am…
nobody's talking about the part where your eloquence just deserts you without warning.
that's the gap. the gaping, criminally overlooked gap between knowing everything and being able to articulate anything.
and that's exactly where i come in
mock interviews with me = incendiary current affairs, contentious opinions, psychological hr landmines, subject interrogation. enough pressure to prepare you for the real thing.
because you didn't obliterate every obstacle to go quiet at the final threshold.
don't let articulation be your undoing. 🎯
