Bhavya is PM at Cisco Spaces where he is responsible for Smart Venues. He completed the PGP program from Indian School of Business (ISB) where he majored in marketing and strategy. He was the coordinator of the student IT experience on campus and graduated on the Dean’s list. Prior to ISB he worked at Samsung Research India as a Senior Software Engineer. He worked on the SmartThings IoT ecosystem where he contributed to the Smart Locks for homes and Elderly Care Services. He also built a cloud bridge for other OEMs to connect their device clouds to the SmartThings cloud. He got his bachelor’s in technology from Indian Institute of Technology (BHU), located in the city of Varanasi where he majored in Computer Science and Engineering. During his Undergrad, he was the editor of the Student Newspaper and got an opportunity to interview the author of the C++ programming language. His favourite things to do outside work include working out, trekking and traveling. He picked up playing chess during the pandemic. He also likes to go on walks and explore street food.
