A problem solver at heart, you will always find me at the intersection of people and technologies, and that's the main reason I enjoy being a product manager. I have over 7 years experience driving successful product outcomes, started off working on developer experience tools in the Microsoft Graph team and now I work in the Commerce Financial Service (CFS) team still at Microsoft, that is responsible for delivering the commerce platform to enable the monetization for many core and strategic services in Microsoft through a variety of payment options. Before joining Microsoft, I worked at Oracle as a Technical Consultant focusing on emerging technologies i.e. Mobility and Chatbots, Blockchain technology, cloud computing and Artificial Intelligence, enabling enterprise customers derive maximum value from their investment in emerging technologies by creating new revenue models and driving process efficiency. I have a Computer Science degree and a Masters in Mobile telecommunication and Innovation from Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology and Strathmore University respectively, both universities in Kenya. As a product of great mentorship, I love mentoring and coaching. More to that, I love having conversations around work culture conversations and participating & contributing in/to initiatives that bring positive culture change at the work place because I'm a firm believer that work culture should be top priority for any leader. Outside of work, I enjoy reading self-help books, music and travel.
