A development professional with a strong grounding in public policy, and stakeholder management. My areas of interest include economic development, indigeneity, labour welfare and climate action. In 2023, I was selected for a global exchange programme, the Professional Fellows Program for Governance and Society, funded by the US State Department where I spent time in Cleveland and Washington DC, USA. What I do: In my current role at UNDP India, I lead the monitoring and management of the Youth Co:Lab National Innovation Challenge, a flagship youth entrepreneurship and innovation program. I am also the Youth Engagement Focal Point for the India Country Office. I am also working on an intervention aimed at boosting female labour force participation in India. We are doing this by strengthening childcare services, testing new models of childcare provisioning and through research and policy advocacy. My role extends to program management, partnerships, research and communications. Previously at GBL, I was a program manager for climate action projects, demonstrating an ability to optimize resources, monitor key performance indicators, manage financial reporting, and provide quality assurance and oversight to the implementation teams. Furthermore, I have shown a high level of complex stakeholder management, including international donors, corporate partners, research organizations, CSOs, MSIs, etc. Before this, I was in the pioneering team for the One District, One Product (ODOP) Initiative, a national flagship programme under the Ministry of Commerce & Industry, to promote indigenous products from over 750 districts in India.
