About me

Lost? Confused? Overthinking your rank, college, branch, coding journey, or future? Welcome. No bhaiya-didi fantasy. No "earn 1 crore in 6 months" nonsense. No fake motivation. No unnecessary gyaan. Hi, I'm Barnik 👋 I'm a Computer Science Engineering student at IIIT Kalyani and also pursuing Data Science & Applications from IIT Madras. I scored 97.52 percentile in JEE 2025 and recently went through the same counselling, college selection, and transition-to-engineering journey that many students are facing today. My interests include Computer Science, AI tools, software development, data science, open-source, and problem solving. I've participated in hackathons, built projects, completed industry learning programs from organizations like Deloitte, AWS, and Electronic Arts, and I'm always exploring ways to learn and grow. Beyond technology, I'm a Junior Scholar (Sarod) at ITC Sangeet Research Academy, where I've been training in Hindustani Classical Music since childhood. I enjoy helping students make informed decisions about colleges, branches, skills, coding, and career direction through practical, experience-based guidance rather than generic advice. Having recently gone through JEE, college counselling, branch selection, and the transition into engineering, I know how confusing this phase can be. Everyone has an opinion, but very few people give practical, unbiased guidance. Here's what you'll find here: → JEE counselling guidance and rank-based decision making → College and branch selection clarity → Engineering roadmap for first-year students → Coding, projects, internships, and skill-building guidance → AI tools that actually help students learn faster and work smarter → Honest conversations about college life, opportunities, and career growth From small doubts to big decisions. From academics to skills. From confusion to clarity. I don't claim to know everything, and I won't sell shortcuts. The goal is simple: Help students avoid common mistakes, make informed decisions, and build skills that matter—at their own pace and without unnecessary pressure. No hype. No fake promises. Just practical student-to-student guidance.
