  1. Introduction to Data & Information: This session will cover the basics of data and information and their significance in the field of Information Management (IM).
  2. Overview of IM: You will explore the what, why, where, when, who, and how of IM, understanding its purpose and importance in various contexts.
  3. IM Function: This section focuses on the tasks and responsibilities assigned to the IM function by the appointing party or lead appointed party. You will learn why the IM function is necessary to ensure the right people are in the right roles and to allocate responsibilities and authority fairly.
  4. Division of IM Functions: IM functions are divided into three categories: Production, Delivery, and Operation. You will delve into the tasks associated with each division, such as identifying tasks in the information production phase, coordinating information across disciplines, establishing methods and procedures for project delivery, and authorizing information for operation and maintenance.
  5. Examples of IM: Real-world examples will be provided to illustrate how IM is implemented by different parties involved in the project. These examples include the roles and responsibilities of clients, lead appointed parties, and appointed parties in terms of defining requirements, generating information, and reviewing/approving deliverables.
  6. IM Competencies: You will gain an understanding of both technical and non-technical competencies required for IM. Technical competencies include project experience, application of national and international BIM standards, and software skills. Non-technical competencies cover planning and organization, research and analysis, and problem-solving skills.
  7. RACI Matrix: This session explains the RACI matrix, which defines the responsibilities and roles of different stakeholders (responsible, accountable, consulted, and informed) in the project.
  8. ISO 19650 Standards: An overview of ISO 19650 standards will be provided, covering concepts, principles, delivery phase, operational phase, information exchange, and a security-minded approach to IM.
  9. Information Delivery Cycle: You will learn about the information requirements and deliverables in the information delivery cycle.
  10. Minimum Requirements: This section outlines the minimum requirements for compliance, including adherence to documents and information requirements, collaboration in information-based containers, and experience in specific technologies.
  11. Stages of Maturity of IM: The lecture will cover the stages of maturity in IM, represented by a pyramid structure, emphasizing the increasing benefits of collaboration as you move up the layers (standard layer, technology layer, information layer, business layer).
  12. Project Parties and Teams: The roles and responsibilities of different project parties, including the appointing party, lead appointed party, task team, and delivery team, will be explained.
  13. Current Issues and Solutions: You will explore the current issues in IM and potential solutions to address them. The lecture will also touch on the mobilization process of IM.
  14. Information Management Process: This section explains the IR (Information Requirement) process, planning the information delivery, actual delivery, and the review and approval process.
  15. Common Data Environment (CDE) Principles: You will learn about the principles of CDE, including work-in-progress (WIP), shared, published, and archived stages.
  16. Revision Process: The lecture will cover the revision process, including suitability status, checking, reviewing, approving, authorizing, and communicating progress, risks, and issues during BIM collaboration meetings.
  17. Digital Quality Assurance (QA): This session will introduce digital QA techniques, such as self-checking, visual checks, SDC (Spatial Data Check), MDC (Model Data Check), clash checks, and buildability checks.
  18. Output/Input, File Formats, and Levels of Information Need (LoIN) and Level of Accuracy (LoA): You will gain an understanding of the output/input in IM, various file formats, and the levels of information need and accuracy.

By the end of the lecture, you will have a comprehensive overview of the topics related to Information Management and be equipped with knowledge and tools to effectively manage data and information in various projects.
