I am an astute curator of Fashion, Arts & Culture with active interests in Realty, Hospitality, Merger & Acquisitions, Healthcare and a proponent supporter of the Start-up ecosystem. Not averse to taking risks, I have over the years built up an interesting portfolio of investments and propriety businesses in the fashion, real estate and lifestyle segment. My entrepreneurial journey has also brought me to a position where I am an active member/partner on the boards of various companies as well as a Mentor to a host of start-ups and entities. Having founded Pune Fashion Week (PFW) in 2010, I have been instrumental in conceiving and building the Pune Fashion Week brand into a leading Indian Luxury Fashion Exhibition platform. I am also the Organizing Committee Member with the Asia Model Festival’s talent discovery platform viz. the ‘Face series’, which is the largest and most prestigious platform in Asia's fashion fraternity. Being the Chairman for 5 of the 27 participating countries, I have been successfully conducting the “Face Of” competitions with the respective winners representing their countries and competing with the other Asian countries for the “Face of Asia” title at the ASIA MODEL FESTIVAL, which is held at South Korea. I have also recently been appointed as the Advisory Board member and the International Business Director with the Dadasaheb Phalke International Film Festival which is India's only Independent International Film Festival. With an enviable portfolio of fashion showcasing platforms, my venture in the Social Initiative space viz. ‘Fashionable Bharat’ is focused on Empowering & supporting the artisanal communities. In Real Estate & Consulting, I have focused on high end branded real estate segment and am credited with introducing rapidly growing globally renowned brands such as World Trade Centre, Fashion TV, Fendi, Bentley, Disney Homes, Tonino Lamborghini in India. As a Member with EO, which is a global network for Entrepreneurs, I support learning and personal growth through peer-to-peer learning, sharing of best practices, creative experiences and connections with experts.
