Starting July 27, 2026, Amazon will automatically shorten any product title exceeding 75 characters using AI — with no seller approval, no warning, and no control over what gets cut. Whatever Amazon's algorithm decides goes live on your listing immediately.

Amazon Title Trimmer lets you take control before that happens. Upload your Category Listing Report, and the tool instantly scans every title across your entire catalog, identifies non-compliant listings, and rewrites them using intelligent shortening rules — preserving your brand name, protecting your top-performing keywords, and removing filler words first.

How it works:

1. Upload your Category Listing Report (.txt) from Seller Central, or paste titles directly
2. Set your brand name, max character limit, and abbreviation aggressiveness
3. Add protected keywords from your Search Term Report — these will never be removed
4. Review every change side-by-side with original vs. rewritten titles
5. Edit any title you disagree with, approve what looks good
6. Download the updated file and upload it straight back to Seller Central

Smart rewriting rules applied in priority order:

• Brand names are always preserved
• Protected keywords from your search terms are never removed
• Filler words (premium, perfect, ideal, genuine, etc.) are stripped first
• Abbreviations are applied automatically (stainless steel → SS, pieces → Pcs, bluetooth → BT)
• Parenthetical and bracketed content is removed as a last resort
• Truncation always happens at word boundaries — never mid-word
