I'm responsible for building and leading teams that power language understanding abilities. We explore and implement various machine learning and deep learning algorithms in text. My teams are responsible for: - Integrating SOTA NLP models. - Batch / Real-time processing of millions of texts (email, chat, social communication, ticket) using low latency. I led the team to implement various features such as Email summary, Information extraction from e-mail signature, Email smart compose, Named Entity Recognition, keyword / Keyphrase extraction, event detection from the mail, and commitment detection from the mail. In addition to the above, I lead several org-wide initiatives around hiring & retention and career development.
