KEY RESULT AREAS IN LINUX Monitoring of disk space, system and application errors, memory and swap space utilization, disk performance, CPU, and processes. Facilitating file system administration, creating/configuring file systems, troubleshooting and repairing file systems. Functioning as Linux Logical Volume Manager – Management of Volume Group, Physical Volumes, Logical Volumes, exporting of volumes groups. Assisting in user administration including creating users, modifying user’s settings and managing SUDO access. Executing package management using yum and RPM and patch management. Managing services like sendmail, NFS, vsftpd, telnet, NTP, SSH, etc. Overseeing installation and configuration of physical/virtual Linux servers and UNIX servers; resolving issues arising out of the deployment of servers, Logical File system management, etc. Using web servers like apache for application hosting. Involve in activities like application installation, user permission issues, privilege access requests, storage addition, and drive extensions. Experience of installing & configuring virtual servers including RHEL 5/6/7 and managing volume shared between different UNIX servers. KEY RESULT AREAS IN DOCKER Deploying docker enterprise/community versions on the Linux platform. Creating and push/pull the docker file and building an image. Monitoring container stats and running a container from an image. Attach/Detach mode, removing containers and deletion of images. The layering of the docker image, inspecting/pruning/flattening of docker images.
