As an AI Auditor at Vera, I leveraged my hands-on experience developing ML and my passion for AI ethics to help clients evaluate AI systems for compliance and disparate outcomes. I have also developed responsible AI curricula for Flatiron School and Microsoft, educating data newbies and engineers alike. I'm also a LinkedIn Learning Instructor with courses on Machine Learning and Ethical AI. I consider myself an AI realist and my mission is to educate people on how to identify and mitigate harmful AI to improve the lives of marginalized people. I lead a local responsible AI meetup in the DC metro, AI Equity. I am always eager to learn new skills, collaborate with diverse teams, and contribute to the advancement of AI for social equity.
