Hi everyone! I am Ayan and I graduated from Indian Institute of Technology, Hyderabad with a Master's in Medical Biotechnology. During my master's degree i published several research and review articles in renowned international journals, in the areas of advanced Biophysics. I then worked as a Project Associate 1, at IITH in a DBT-funded project for about 1 year and 5 months. During my Ph.D. application phase, I gained insights into what faculties seek in prospective students, efficient handling of personal and scholarship interview rounds, and crafting a scientifically robust research proposal. Without having a proper knowledge of these things, and planning it is very hard to find a fully funded PhD position abroad. I am delighted to share that I have been awarded the opportunity to commence my Ph.D. program at UNSW Sydney, which is part of the prestigious Group of Eight (Go8) universities in Australia. The commencement is scheduled for early 2024, and I am fortunate to be supported by the competitive UIPA scholarship. This scholarship not only covers my entire tuition fees but also provides a generous stipend, assistance with relocation costs, and comprehensive Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC) support throughout my tenure at the university. Additionally, I have been honored to receive full scholarships from several other distinguished institutions, including the University of Queensland (UQ-RTP scholarship), the Australian National University (ANU-International Research Scholarship, along with an ANU postgraduate research top-up scholarship amounting to an additional $10,000 for 3.5 years), Deakin University (DUPRs), the Children's Medical Research Institute - University of Sydney (CMRI scholarships), and the Fundacion Biofisika Bizkaia (IBF-FBB) in Spain. My success inspired me to help new upcoming PhD student to secure fully funded PhD positions abroad. I am committed to provide guidance to students in the field of biological science, filling a gap in the market.
