I am Avril Rodrigues, an educator, writer, and creative explorer who believes that creativity can become a pathway to deeper self-discovery. After many years in education, I found myself increasingly drawn towards the inner world — the stories we carry, the patterns that shape us, the emotions we sometimes struggle to express, and the possibilities that emerge when we give ourselves permission to explore. My own journey has taken me through writing, poetry, Tarot, Gene Keys, symbolism, intuitive practices, art and creative self-exploration. Over time, these threads began coming together naturally, giving birth to what I call Creative Alchemy — the transformation that can happen when we bring curiosity, creativity and conscious reflection into our lives. I created the Unfolding Lotus Cards as an invitation to pause, look within and allow something meaningful to emerge. Like a lotus unfolding petal by petal, self-discovery is not something that needs to be rushed. Each of us has our own rhythm, our own story and our own way of unfolding. My work is not about giving people all the answers. It is about creating a space where they can ask better questions, listen to themselves more deeply, and discover what is already waiting within. Through my courses, creative experiences and card deck, I hope to make inner exploration feel accessible, meaningful and, above all, alive.
