About me

If you're hiring me, you're hiring more than a computer scientist, more than what my formal education says I am. Keeping it short and simple: 1. I don't (read: can't) work hard. Thus, I look for smarter and shorter ways to get work done. But because I hate mediocre work, I improvise enough to not compromise on quality. 2. I am a slow learner. Thus, I take time to learn but I end up learning whatever I do very much in depth and narrowed down to the d. 3. I am passionate and very empathetic, and emotional. I love teaching, so I am all up for helping others around me with whatever I can. Primarily looking for Technical Product/Program Manager, ML Research/Engineering and Data Science roles. Also interested in AI Ethics and Data Policy sub-domains. Graduate Research Assistant at Virginia Tech (Spring 2021-Fall 2022) at the Department of Computer Science. I'm an MS Thesis graduate, having worked on Active Learning and Data Sharing. As a B.Tech. graduate in Computer Science, I have taken a natural interest in Applied Statistics and Machine/Deep Learning. Significant interest in Mathematics and Statistics led me to an instinctive interest in the same. Can work on Python, C/C++, Java, R, MATLAB/Octave, GoLang, Django, CSS, etc.. Aside from that, an enthusiastic public speaker and budding MUNer, have done a lot of debates and organised a few public speaking conferences/MUNs. I am the Founder of TEDxVileParle, an independently organised TED event. Also do a bit of quizzing, and tech journalism - both of which combined and conspired to get me a Runners Up position at TCS IT WIZ back in 2015.
