Avi Bansal is currently pursuing a PGDM in Finance from MDI Gurgaon. He is a Certified FRM and has cleared CFA Level II. He has 27 months of full-time experience as a Business Valuations Consultant at Deloitte USI, where he was involved in the valuation of private companies under U.S. GAAP. His work covered ASC 805 Purchase Price Allocation, intangible asset valuation including customer relationships, trademarks/tradenames, and assembled workforce, ASC 350 Goodwill Impairment testing, ASC 718 stock-based compensation valuation, private equity portfolio company valuation and ASC 820 fair value measurement of business enterprises. He is proficient in financial modeling using Microsoft Excel. He is currently interning with American Express in the Treasury domain, where he is responsible for managing the company’s cash positions, monitoring foreign exchange exposures, and supporting the automation of cost of funds calculations across legal entities.
