I'm Avani Prasad, and my journey from being an Economist to aspiring Psychologist has led me into the fascinating world of human emotions, where I strive to spark positive transformations in people's lives. Currently immersed in pursuing my MSc in Counseling Psychology at Christ University, I bring a mix of academic expertise and hands-on experience to the table. In the dynamic environment of Hayat-the existence in Navi Mumbai, I'm honing my therapeutic skills as a Trainee Therapist. Along the way, I've been a Trainee Counseling Psychologist at Carmel Convent PU College and had an enlightening internship at the Central Institute of Psychiatry, Ranchi, where I explored various therapeutic approaches and addiction treatment. Beyond this i have an Economics degree from Shri Ram College of Commerce, Delhi and have navigated roles of an entrepreneur, managing Avani Medi Aid Pvt Ltd, and a catalyst for change, founding SPANDAN. Through impactful initiatives like Project Sparsh against child sexual abuse and Project WeCare for mental health, I've touched the lives of over 50,000 children, fostering positive change.
