My love for building software started almost a decade ago. The first company that I joined was a startup, called Flint. As one of the first engineers, I dove headfirst into everything: designing solutions, coding from scratch, and even talking directly with customers. It was exhilarating! I even have the distinction of making the very first code commit to our future SaaS product! Flint was a whirlwind of learning. We were a close-knit team, collaborating with the CTO to hatch innovative features and even leading the engineering team myself. The fast-paced and dynamic environment fueled my desire to grow as an engineer and to make a real impact. Then, in the early 2020s, something exciting happened – Flint was acquired by Freshworks! This presented a new challenge: scaling our lean startup product to handle the massive user base of Freshworks. It was an incredible learning experience. I discovered the intricacies of working with large, diverse teams, the best practices of established enterprises, and how to leverage existing infrastructure to our advantage. Here, I had the opportunity to tackle some truly impactful projects. We transformed our component-based architecture into a robust microservices ecosystem powered by Kubernetes. I even built the SaaS Application Management and Cloud Application Management features from the ground up! Throughout this journey, two things have remained constant: my passion for solving problems and my insatiable desire to learn new things. But enough about work! Outside the office, you'll find me exploring new cultures and cuisines, indulging in my love of basketball – both playing on the court and coaching on the sidelines. This is my story, and it's still being written!
