Hey guys! I’m Aswita Shetty, currently working at Amazon as a Senior Program Manager and living in the heart of nature - Seattle! 🌲 My story hasn’t been a straight path, but definitely a unique one - just like yours! I graduated as an engineer and spent 4 years as a Tech Consultant before realizing I wanted a change. I knew I wanted to stay connected to tech but also lean toward marketing, business, and startups. So, I took a big leap - The MBA Route! After months of writing my stories, preparing for interviews, and doing countless coffee chats, I finally made it to Rice MBA, Class of 2024. 🎓 Preparing for my pre-MBA interviews taught me the power of storytelling - something that became my biggest strength. It helped me land a Pathways Operations Manager Internship at Amazon. After a year there, I realized my heart was closer to tech, which led me to switch from Operations to a Senior Program Manager role within Amazon. Today, I’m truly enjoying what I do - but I know I wouldn’t be here without the mentors who guided me along the way. Now, I want to pay it forward and help others reach their dream roles too.
