I would like to describe myself as a critical thinker and a problem solver! I am an aspiring data analyst / BI developer professional currently pursuing my Master’s in Business Analytics with key focus on Data Analytics track at The University of Texas at Dallas, scheduled to graduate in December 2024. I possess a strong passion for utilizing knowledge and analytical skills to solve real-world problems and drive business success. To commence with my work experience, I firmly believe that it is my 2 years into the corporate world, the learnings and practices I have imbibed, that has provided me with the footing towards the higher studies. As a Senior Analyst at Capgemini, I gained valuable insights into bridging the gap between technology and business requirements, which sparked my interest in pursuing a master's degree in business analytics and further enhance my knowledge of subject matter. I am adept at understanding client-side needs and implementing effective solutions. During my time as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at UTD, I further developed my leadership skills by managing and mentoring students. Later, as a Senior Analytics Intern at Fortrea, I applied advanced statistical tools to develop a predictive model that accurately forecasted contract awards, enabling senior leadership to make informed strategic decisions. Reflecting on Winston Churchill's words, "The farther backward you can look, the farther forward you are likely to see," these experiences reinforced my belief in the power of predictive analytics to drive impactful business decisions by learning from historical data. This journey has solidified my commitment to leveraging data-driven insights to shape the future of business. Beyond academia, I enriched campus life as an Events Officer for the Indian Students Association, a Marketing Officer for the SAP Users Group, and a Yoga Instructor at University Recreation.
