With close to 15 years of experience across Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), Sustainability, Procurement and Agriculture verticals, I’ve led key initiatives at Pidilite and AB InBev. Early in my career, I honed by commercial (sales, marketing & strategy) skills at Fevicol—a foundation that later powered my drive for sustainability transformations. At AB InBev, I led the Procurement & Sustainability function across India and Southeast Asia, embedding sustainability into business processes. From empowering 2,500+ farmers through Smart Barley to launching Sustainability 100+ with CNBC TV-18, my focus was always on scalable solutions. At Pidilite, I played a key role in the founding team of its CSR vertical, building all CSR initiatives up from scratch - right from hiring the right people, putting in place a partnership eco-system and to creating a foundation setup for project implementation. Whether decarbonizing supply chains, driving water stewardship, climate action strategies and education & skilling initiatives, I’ve worked to turn bold aspirations into on-ground action. Now, as an advisor to climate action start-ups like Celeste (Mexico), Earth 5R (India), and Amplo Global (USA), I channel my experience into guiding start-up ventures. My roles as a mentor at the German Accelerator and as on the Advisory Board for Sustainable Development (and also the Rural Immersion module) at the Goa Institute of Management keep me at the cutting edge of sustainability leadership. I’ve shared insights on global platforms such as the UN Climate Change for Innovation, The Economist’s APAC Circularity Forum, The India CSR Box Annual CSR & ESG Summit and others. I have had my work and contributions featured in Mint, India CSR Portal, ICRISAT, Brewer World etc. I’m passionate about shaping future sustainability leaders, delivering masterclasses and judging sustainability events at institutions like IIM-Mumbai (NITIE), ISB, Symbiosis and GIM. I believe continuous learning is a key for professionals in our space. With that in mind, I’ve completed specialized Sustainability and Corporate Reputation Leadership Programs at Stanford University and researched deep on topics like India’s CSR law, the EV sector and Urban Development through Public Policy Post-Graduate studies at the Takshashila Institution. I am also a certified in various Sustainability Reporting methodologies (by the IFRS Foundation - FSA Level 1, by Bureau Veritas - on BRSR/ESG, by Green Mentor - on GHG Accounting, and also on Integrated Reporting and GRI methodologies). To expand my Climate Risk horizons, I also recently cleared my GARP - SCR (Sustainability & Climate Risk) certification exam in Dec'2024. These experiences fuel my drive to craft actionable strategies that align sustainability with business success. More importantly, I’m here not just to share my story, but to help individuals, companies and institutions find their own pathways to a more sustainable future. I can not only share my own learnings, but, also help co-create solutions and career paths for you. Given the high volume of requests for guidance, this account is my attempt at formalizing a way in which I can bring this experience directly to you in a customized and personalized manner. Although my focus right now is to help all of you chart your individual journey in this domain.
