Nine days of guided sādhanā, culminating in a three-day immersive study of the Devi Mahatmyam.
Ascend is a space for inner work, spiritual inquiry and the study and practice of yoga, Ayurveda and ancient wisdom.
Through guided sādhanā, contemplative study and one-on-one spiritual mentorship, Ascend supports a deeper relationship with yourself, your practice and the way you live.
This is the complete Navratri experience, designed to take you through the nine days not simply as a festival, but as a period of practice, contemplation and relationship with the Devi.
From October 11–19, we will move through the nine forms of the Devi through a simple daily rhythm of:
On Saptami, Ashtami and Navami, the sādhanā deepens.
Alongside the regular practice, we will spend an additional 30 minutes studying the Devi Mahatmyam (Saptashati), followed by one hour of focused study and contemplation of the Devi associated with that day.
The heart of these sessions is the narrative of the Mahatmyam. We will follow its stories, battles, characters and unfolding movement, while exploring what the narrative can reveal about inner conflict, transformation, fear, power, surrender and consciousness.
We will also bring the bīja mantra practice of the first seven days to its culmination during these final days.
This is not intended as an academic reading of the text alone. It is an opportunity to encounter the Saptashati as a living narrative and contemplative text, and to explore how its imagery and teachings speak to our own inner lives.

The group is intentionally kept small so that there is space for genuine practice and participation. I practise alongside the group throughout Navratri rather than simply giving you a set of instructions to follow.
Fasting is optional and can be adapted to your health and circumstances. You do not need to fast to participate fully in the sādhanā.
Practice. Observe. Listen. Return.
