I am an agricultural professional with a strong academic foundation and practical experience in plant protection and entomology. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture (Hons) and a postgraduate degree in Plant Protection (Entomology) from Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences and Technology, Kashmir. My expertise spans from pest management to sustainable agricultural practices.
During my postgraduate research, I focused on studying insect diversity in brown sarson and cruciferous vegetables, under the temperate ecosystem . I also conducted research on the natural enemies associated with cabbage aphid, aiming to contribute to eco-friendly pest control strategies.
In addition to my academic pursuits, I have expanded my skill set by earning a diploma in Computer Application, Accounting, and Publishing Assistant . This technical training enables me to integrate digital solutions into agricultural research, data analysis, and resource management effectively.
For the past two years, I have been working as a horticulture trainer at Government ITI Kargil, where I trained the next generation horticulturists. My passion lies in sharing knowledge, enhancing agricultural productivity, and promoting sustainable practices in horticulture and farming.
