I'm sharing my CV building technique.
Resumes are still alive. Most people overcomplicate the design.
You can download my exact template and watch the step-by-step breakdown here:
- Ditch the fancy designs: No photos, no complex graphics. A clean, minimal template is what recruiters and ATS systems actually want to see
- The 5-second rule: Recruiters spend less than 10 seconds on your CV. Highlight your key skills and strengths right at the top so they don't have to search for them.
- Focus on relevance: Only include experience that matches the job. If you’re applying for robotics, your video editing side-hustle doesn't need a main spot.
- Use numbers: Don’t just say what you did—say how much. Whether it’s "trained 500+ students" or "completed 100% of project milestones," data adds instant credibility.
- Embed your links: Make it easy for them to find your portfolio, LinkedIn, or personal website by embedding the links directly.
