With close to two decades of R&D experience in ML, computer vision, and NLP, I am an applied science executive who is passionate about solving complex problems and delivering innovative solutions that create value for customers and businesses. I have a strong track record of building and leading diverse high-performing teams, publishing in top-tier venues, and obtaining patents and awards for my work. As the VP of Research and Data Science at NetApp, I lead a suite of AI/ML-driven data services that empower NetApp customers in their digital transformation journey across their hybrid multi-cloud data estate. Previously, I led Applied Research in Meta’s Enterprise Products division, where I focused on building state-of-the-art AI/ML for commerce and supply chain products. Before that, I spearheaded the development of advanced AI for detecting and blocking phishing/spam attacks in Microsoft’s products. My mission is to leverage my expertise in ML, computer vision, and NLP to create impactful and scalable solutions that enhance the security, efficiency, and productivity of enterprises and consumers.
