I’m Arun SP, Director of Data & AI at iLink Digital. My career has been shaped by intentional transitions, continuous learning, and building teams and capabilities at scale. I started out in Civil Engineering and moved into IT without a traditional computer science background. Since then, I’ve worked across multiple environments including large enterprises, early stage startups, a Big 4 firm at Cognizant, a startup, EY, Tiger Analytics, and now iLink Digital. Each phase pushed me beyond my comfort zone and forced me to rethink how careers, skills, and growth actually work in the real world. While my roots are in data and analytics, my role today goes well beyond delivery or architecture. I operate at the intersection of technology, business growth, and people development, covering consulting, strategy, pre sales and sales, partnerships and alliances, GTM positioning, hiring, and team building. I’ve led and scaled large teams, conducted over 600 interviews across levels, and worked closely with leadership on capability building and long term growth plans. One belief has consistently proven true for me. A single, honest conversation at the right moment can change the direction of a career. I’ve experienced this personally during key transitions, and I see it repeatedly when speaking with professionals who feel stuck, uncertain, or overwhelmed by choices, whether they are early in their careers or already well established. I’m deeply curious by nature and invest heavily in learning by engaging with practitioners, leaders, and subject matter experts across domains. I care as much about how people learned as what they learned, and that perspective shapes how I approach advisory conversations. Outside of work, I value balance and personal growth, and I’m especially passionate about supporting younger professionals, helping them think clearly, stay grounded, and focus on skills that compound over time.
